To be a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for the education and well-being of every child.

Our Purpose

To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and place of worship. To raise the standards of home life. To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth. To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth. To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.

I love to watch and (attempt) to play sports. I was lucky enough to be able to go to both the World Series and the Super Bowl in the same year!

“My love for children and education is such an important part of who I am. I enjoy helping and uplifting teachers and staff who pour into our children daily, bringing exciting and rewarding experiences to our students, and most of all showing my own children learn what servant leadership looks like.

Before becoming a stay at home mom 3 years ago, Mandy worked in the field of education for over 20 years as a 3rd grade teacher, 5th grade teacher, and as an Educational Diagnostician.

Especially with the effect of the pandemic, this is when we really need to work together as a community and minimize the impact on them and their education.”There’s no better way to stay connected to your kiddos’ school and what’s going on than being a part of the PTA, and I love that it gives me the chance to meet other Schluter families and get to know the teachers. Bringing new ideas to the table and serving the school and this community are by far the best part of being on the PTA. “
